A friend, Scott, at Ulman Sails asked me to help him out with an "emergency" sail repair. The LINX tall ship foresail had pretty significant damage. The sail must weigh 100 or more pounds when dry, so it took Scott to pull it while I sewed in 6 new panels. We worked for at least 12 hours and got it to back to them Monday evening so that they could head home along the NE coast to Nantucket. I believe the sail that I repaired was the third sail in from the front. Scott and I were given LINX Tshirts and told there may be a little excursion for us the next time she comes to town. We did get to go aboard to admire American's Privateer. She was grand!!!
