Candy Corn

The nights are cooling off, sunsets are so orange, and the daylight hours are shrinking slowly. So, I started making a Fall/Halloween inspired collection. I did fine tune my patterns by adding width for more turns at the elastic casings and interfacing to the side panels for more structure. The mask feels more substantial now and has a better shape and fit.

I am wishing that I had studied costume design, but I can study anything with Google college. I have enjoyed Bernadette Banner's sewing lessons and admired her work. I might have to pick up some actual candy corn now that I have started at it on the fabric for so many days.

Fair Winds,
