Adding a "frill" to a flannel shirt, just because...

This story started with a neighbor that wanted the bottom of this flannel shirt attached to her favorite Bruce Springsteen Tshirt in order to hide some wear and tear on the bottom quarter of the T-shirt. Which I did do, cut off the bottom quarter of both shirts and attached the flannel tails to the T shirt. But, then the rest of the flannel shirt seemed "sad". I found myself using this black and white toile-like flannel print in a quilt and thought it would make a complimentary ruffle and a pocket. I hand stitched the edge of the new pocket and the bottom of the ruffle. Now this shirt seems "happy" to me.
